Alice F. Garvey, age 100 of Brookfield, died Friday August 2, 2013 at Life Care Center of Brookfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday August 6, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Brookfield, with Father Gregory Tigga officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Brookfield. Rosary will be said at 5:30 pm Monday August 5, 2013 at the church with family receiving friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. She was united in marriage to Charles Edward Garvey on September 25, 1943. She is survived by her children; Michael B. Garvey and wife Sara, Denis Garvey and wife Barbara, all of Brookfield, Bridget Gillespie and husband Jack, Lawrence, Ks., and Thomas Garvey and wife Renee, Overland Park, Ks.; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; one great-grandson; three brothers and three sisters.
