Rita Jett, 75, Brookfield, passed away on Monday August 22, 2011 at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday August 25, 2011 at Rhodes Funeral Home with Reverend David Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Cemetery, Brookfield. Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm Wednesday August 24, 2011 at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Memorials have been suggested to the Alzheimer Association or the American Heart Association and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, Missouri 64628. Laurita Mae was born on August 01, 1936 in St. Catharine, Missouri, daughter of Lloyd and Nola Smith Warren. On June 06, 1974 she married Jacques Jett at Brookfield, She was a member of Park Baptist Church, DAR, and had been co-owner of Mart Drug Store , Brookfield. She is survived by her husband Jacques of the home; daughter, Dena Lyford and Brent Shiflett, Brookfield; son Doug and Stephanie Gall, Brookfield; step-daughters, Jacqueline and Steve McQueen, Cameron; Diane and Steve Hall, Trenton; and Susan Smith, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jason and Kelli Lyford, Marli Lyford, Adrienne Gall and Dean Gall; several great-grandchildren. Laurita is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; J. L. Warren and Donnie Warren.
