Marvin D. "Whisker" Windsor, age 77, of Brookfield, died Friday, February 3, 2017 at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 6, 2017, at Rhodes Funeral Home with Rodger Kelsey officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Monday, February 6, 2017 at Rhodes Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 12:00 pm till time of service. He was united in marriage to Velma Lee Kinnison on May 26, 1962, in Hale, Missouri. In his spare time, Marvin enjoyed fishing, feeding and watching hummingbirds, and taking care of his pet cat. He is survived by his wife Velma, of the home; one son, Kenneth LeRoy Windsor, Brookfield; one sister, Velma Douglas, Brookfield; and his former employer, Gloria Washam Taylor. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, John, Daniel, Charles, Oscar, Jerrold, Norman and Claude Windsor; and two sisters, Evelyn Wanamaker, and Caddie Windsor
