Ray Packham Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ray Packham age 88 of Brookfield, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at McLarney Manor in Brookfield, MO. Ray was born the son of Chester and Clara (Bundy) Packham on March 11, 1934, in Brookfield, MO. Shortly after graduating high school, Ray joined the United States Marine Corp on November 5, 1953. During his time in the service he received the National Defense Service Medal. He spent most of his time working odd jobs. He enjoyed doing carpentry work and wood working. He liked to visit and joke around with family and friends. Ray married Shirley Harvey and to this union they had three children, Vanessa, Daniel and Ray Jr. Then Ray got remarried to Alberta Glaspie and to this union they had four children, Tammy, Vickie, Roger, and Shawn. Ray is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Hart of Colorado Springs, CO; one son, Daniel Packham of Montrose, CO; six grandchildren, James Packham, Christopher Hart, Brandon Hart, Crystal Packham, Tiffany Williams, and Alex Truit, thirteen great-grandchildren, two daughters, Tammy Holtzer of Memphis, TN; and Vickie Packham of Logan, UT; two sons, Roger Scott and Shawn Scott, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, Terry Packham, one sister, June Jacobs, and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ray Packham Jr., four brothers, infant Francis, Bruce, Jimmy and Lynn Packham, two sisters, Rosemary Carley and Clara Winfrey. Visitation will be held at the Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO. on Friday, June 10, 2022, from 1:00 pm. to 3:00 pm. Arrangements are under the Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO.
