S. Darlene Richardson, age 76 of Brookfield, passed away Wednesday morning, February 11, 2015 at Liberty Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday February 14, 2015 at Freedom Baptist Church, Brookfield, with Pastor Charles Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Brookfield. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Friday February 13, 2015 at Rhodes Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Memorial donations have been suggested to McLarney Manor Activity Fund and may be left at or sent to the funeral home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, Missouri 64628. On November 04, 1967 she was united in marriage to Billy A. Richardson at Marceline. He survives of the home. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, Brookfield. She is also survived by a daughter, Shelley Richardson of Parkville; step-daughter, Linda Richardson, Milan; one brother, Jackie George, Brookfield; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis George, state of Iowa and Clara Frazier and husband Leroy, Milan; one brother-in-law, Albert Richardson and wife Anita, state of California; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Todd Richardson; sisters, Roxie Weatherby, Vera West and Janie Head; brothers, Glen and Donald George.
