Steven C. Thompson Steven C. Thompson, 49, of Brookfield, died Sunday March 13, 2011 at his home. Memorial services with Military Honors provided by Marceline VFW will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday March 16, 2011 at Rhodes Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Adrian officiating. Online condolences can be left at www.rhodesfh.com Steven Craig, son of Eugene and Claire (Cute) Thompson, was born on June 24, 1961 in Greenville, South Carolina. On December 2, 1995 he was married to Leora Frances Smith. Steven was a helicopter pilot in the United States Army and served during the Grenada Conflict. Steven is survived by his wife Lori of the home. Four daughters; Sandra and husband Jeremy Cashion, Brookfield. Malinda and husband Richard Wright, Vacaville, Ca. Vera Thompson, Fayetteville, N.C. Tabatha Thompson, Sacramento, Calif. Three sons; Stevie Thompson, Fayetteville, N.C. Glen Banks and John and Rhonda Banks, Marceline. His mother; Claire Thompson, Warner Robins, Georgia. One sister; Cindee and husband Rickie Love, Warner Robins, Georgia. Eight grandchildren, two nieces and several other relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, grandmother and one son, Chadd.
