Informational Bulletin on Funerals and COVID-19

The owners and staff of the Rhodes Funeral Home are diligently staying informed on the current public health situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will until further notice, be following the guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, public health, and government officials.

As of March 19, 2020, we have been advised that there should be 10 people or less at any public gathering. Therefore, at this time we are only able to offer private family viewings and/or services until further notice. If so desired, a memorial service can be arranged to take place at a later date.  Please understand that recent laws and restrictions do in fact pertain to visitations, memorial services and funerals, as they are public gatherings. We want to do what is best for the health and safety of our families and community during these difficult times.

Our primary concern is the health and safety of our entire community. We wish to inform you that our funeral home is cleaned and sanitized regularly, and we are taking extra precautions during this particular time to maintain a safe environment for our families and the public. And, as always we are committed to serving our families with compassion and respect.
