Brian Vincent Bowman

Brian Vincent (Stewart) Bowman, age 49, passed away on March 30, 2025, at North Kansas City Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 17, 1975, Brian was known for his protective nature, always ready to assist both friends and strangers alike. He carried a Godly spirit and a heart of gold, deeply touching the lives of those around him. Brian proudly served in the Army National Guard from 1993 to 1996, demonstrating a commitment to his country and community. Professionally, he dedicated himself to his career as a flooring installer, where his meticulous craftmanship was known and valued throughout the industry. Brian graduated from Brookfield High School with the class of 1994, where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. Brians life was enriched by his hobbies which included fishing, working out, and cherishing moments with his friends and family. His dogs George, Melford, and Elli were also a significant part of his joy. Brian is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Wanita Bowman, and his children, Trey Thompson, Tanner Munson (Violet Airey), Kenadi Munson (Peyton Moritz), Kayden McCarter (Dom Noble), and James Sutton (Peyton Ireland). He was a proud grandpa to his only grandchild, Rory Mae Lynn Moritz. Siblings, Kim Glidewell (Gary Oberfell), Monnie Delana and wife Jessica, Clarissa Darnell, and Raymond Delana and wife Jessica. Brian is also survived by his mother Janet Wade and stepfather Jim, and numerous nieces and nephews that all loved their uncle Bo very much. Brian was preceded in death by an unborn child and his beautiful son Derek Matthew Bowman, his father Gary Darnell, a brother James Darnell, and his maternal and paternal grandparents. A Celebration to honor Brians life will he held on April 12, 2025, at 12:00 pm. at the park in Laclede, MO. His life and legacy will be remembered as one of kindness, service, and profound love for his family.
