Mary Sue Head

Mary Sue (Westfall) Head, age 76, of Brookfield, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 in Brookfield. Mary Sue was born on July 28, 1941 to the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Collier) Westfall. On May 29, 1976 she married Randall Lee Head of Brookfield. She graduated in the class of 1959 from Brookfield High School Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Rhodes Funeral Home with Reverend Gail Brown and Marlin K. Waldrep officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, with family receiving family and friends from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Rhodes Funeral Home. Burial will be in Park Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials have been suggested to the Animal Shelter of Linn County and may be left at or sent to Rhodes Funeral Home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, MO 64628. On-line registry at www.rhodesfh.com Mary Sue worked thirty-six years for L.T. York Pharmaceutical Plant before they moved the plant to Kansas City. Then she worked for ten years at the Main Stop Convenience Store until they closed. Mary Sue is survived by her husband Randy, of the home; one brother, Lee Westfall of Lebanon, NH; one sister-in-law, and brother-in-law; Debbie and Kyle Waldrep, Brookfield; two nieces, Kathy and husband Jeff Volckaert, Lebanon, NH; Stacie Stanfield, Brookfield; two nephews, Michael and wife Katharina Westfall, Vienna, Austria; Steven and wife Belle Westfall, Minneapolis, MN; three great-nephews and two great-nieces, Christian and Annaliese Volckaert , Lebanon, NH; Ian and Emma Westfall, Vienna, Austria, and Alasdair Westfall, Minneapolis, MN; one special uncle and aunt, Harold and JoAnn Collier, Natchitoches, LA; as well as several other cousins and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Pat Farris; one sister-in-law, Janie Westfall; two infant nieces; her father and mother-in-law, Roy and Janie Head; and her Grandparents She loved to cook, watch her favorite football team the KC Chiefs, and watch the KC Royals, and Missouri Tiger football, anything that had to do with sports. She loved to play cards with Deb and Kyle, and her puppy Blondie was loved dearly
