Myrtle Hauser Myrtle Hauser, 81, of Brookfield died Monday March 21, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday March 24, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike White officiating. Burial to be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will start at 12:00 pm, with the Order Of Eastern Star service held at 5:30 pm Wednesday March 23, 2011 with family receiving friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm that evening at the Rhodes Funeral Home. Online condolences can be left at www.rhodesfh.com. Myrtle Leanna Hauser, daughter of Simon L. and Julia Elizabeth (Skoglund) Johnson was born north of Bucklin, Missouri on June 20, 1929. In February of 1953 she married Carl W. Miller in California. In October of 1964 she married Martin Hauser in Bucklin. Myrtle graduated from Bucklin High School in 1948, General Hospital Nursing School in 1959, worked St. Francis Hospital 1959-1980, St. Francis Long Term Care 1980- until closed, part time Pershing Hospital 1980-2002. She was the first Linn County Public Health Nurse 1967-1968, a member of The Order Of Eastern Stars from 1964 to 2011, co-owner of Hauser Electric while married to Martin Hauser, member of Florence Chapter #124, Sara Circle, Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, loved sewing for her sister and daughters, made numerous crocheted items for family members and friends, she loved her God and depended on him all through out her life. Myrtle is survived by daughter and son-in- law; Leanna and Willie Cash, Brookfield, son Karl Hauser, Brookfield, daughter and son-in-law Amy and Mark Botts, Meadville. Sister-in-law; Elaine Johnson, Macon, Nephew; Leon Jacobi and wife Gabrielle, Brookfield, niece Julia Cotter and husband John, Lake Quivera, KS., nephew Jeffery Baker and wife Audra, N.C., niece Debbie Baker, N.C., grandchildren, Anthony Cash, Heidi and Jason Beeler, Christopher Cash, Brookfield, Mathew and Emily Botts, Meadville, MO., great grandchildren, Samantha Cash, St. Joseph, Chelsey Cash, Cheyenne Cash, Jonathan Beeler, Jacob Beeler, Brookfield, one great great grand child Audrina Cash. Seven great nieces and nephews, seven great-great nieces and nephews and several other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one brother Eugene Johnson, two sisters and three brothers-in-law, Edith and Harold Wright, Pauline and Warren Baker and EL Jacobi.
