Sharon Ruth (Stufflebean) Grimshaw A Life Well Loved Sharon Ruth (Stufflebean) Grimshaw was born on June 5, 1944, in Brookfield, Missouri, to Gerald Emerson and Gladys Ruth (Frazier) Stufflebean. She was the second of seven children and the eldest daughter. Sharon adored her five brothers—Jerry, Kenneth, Russell, Douglas, and Darryl—and her baby sister, Connie. On June 10, 2025, Sharon left this Earth and joined her parents, four of her brothers, and her sister in Heaven. A 1962 graduate of Brookfield High School, Sharon went on to attend Northeast Missouri State Teachers College. Her life forever changed when her brother Kenneth introduced her to a young Air Force serviceman, Robert William Grimshaw, in Laredo, Texas. They married on March 1, 1968, beginning a joyful, nearly six-decade union built on love, respect, and unwavering devotion. Together, Sharon and Robert raised three children—Kelsy Gerie Hustead, Kristin Howard Grimshaw, and Karrie Anne Elizabeth Barnes. Sharon was a deeply caring and supportive mother, always present for her children’s lives and milestones. She was a proud and doting grandmother to seven beloved grandchildren: Hayley Marie Hustead, Bryce Elizabeth Hustead, Gunnar Matthew Hustead, William Ericson Barnes, Bridger Lane Grimshaw, Brayden Robert Grimshaw, and Brennen Marie Grimshaw. Nothing brought her more joy than cheering on her grandchildren and celebrating their achievements. Sharon was the heart of her family—a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her greatest joy was time spent with those she loved. Her legacy of devotion and warmth will forever live in our hearts. Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Five Corners Evangelical Church in Brookfield, MO. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield, MO. Visitation will be at the Five Corners Evangelical Church in Brookfield, MO; on Friday, June 13, 2025, with family receiving friends from 1:00 pm. until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO.
