Randy Wayne Neeley, 63 of Brookfield passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at the University Hospital, Columbia, with his wife by his side. Visitation will be Friday, June 25, 2021 from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at the First Baptist Church in Linneus, MO. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am. Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Linneus, MO; with Pastor Aron Skinner and Pastor John Ruff officiating, burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, Brookfield, MO. Services are under the direction of the Rhodes Funeral Home. We are recommending that you wear a mask. On-line condolences can be made at www.rhodesfh.com Randy Wayne, son of Russell Duane Neeley and Margaret Lee (Singleton) Neeley was born on February 18, 1958 in Brookfield, MO. He grew up on the family farm. In Randy’s high school years, he was a long distance runner and held the State record for the 2-mile relay for the Meadville High School team. On August 12, 1979 he married Carla Mae Simmons in Linneus, MO; and to this union had three children. He coached many sports teams that his children played on. Randy taught his children many things that he was passionate about. How to raise show hogs was one of them and even won Reserve State Champion York Boar. He raised registry breeding livestock and later raised USDA butcher hogs. Randy was a firm believer in fresh quality meat. He loved the Balloon Derby and for 13 years was on the chase crew for the Gumball Balloon. Randy worked for Orscheln Farm and Home in Brookfield for many years. Randy was a very loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a kind man and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His is survived by his wife Carla of the home, one daughter Amanda Marie Lee and Jason of Chillicothe; two sons, Nathan Brian Neeley and Kelly of Jamesport and Russell John Neeley of Brookfield; his father, Russell Duane Neeley; his mother Margaret Lee Neeley; two brothers, Dana T. Neeley and Sharon of St. Joseph and Darrell G. Neeley and DaLana of Chillicoth; five grandchildren, Makayla Lee, Bryan Lee, Alexis Neeley, Bailey Neeley, and Zander Neeley; and several nieces, nephews, and relatives.
